Councillor Catherine Berry
Hello and welcome to my website. I will try and bring you all the up to date news about what is going on in Radcliffe and the ward I represent which is Radcliffe East.
I was elected to Bury Council in May 2006 and it has been a real priviledge to represent the residents of Radcliffe East in the Town Hall. Since my election, I have met a lot of residents who have asked me for help and it has been a real pleasure to meet with them and try and help with their problems. That is the reason I wanted to become a Councillor, to try and make a difference within the community. I promised to listen to residents needs and to do my best to help, which is what I have tried to do over the past 4 years and what I will continue to do.

“It's official, Bury rated a ‘4 Star, Excellent Council’ by the Audit Commission”
Bury is one of Lancashires oldest towns and owes much of its fortune to the Industrial Revolution during which great wealth was experienced and
many fine architectural
buildings were constructed.
Its famous son, was Sir Robert
Peel the founder of the Police Force & Prime Minister in 1841.
Invest in Radcliffe
Radcliffe has many blue chip companies with a highly skilled workforce. Direct links to the motorway makes Radcliffe an ideal area for businesses looking to relocate and with the planned redevelopment in the town centre, we are confident that Radcliffe will become the place to live, work and enjoy our leisure time.
